The MQ3 alcohol sensor is simple to use and has two different outputs. It provides not only a binary indication of the presence of alcohol, but also an analog representation of its concentration in the air. The analog output voltage of the sensor (at pin A0) varies proportionally to the alcohol concentration. The higher the alcohol concentration in the air, the higher the output voltage; the lower the concentration, the lower the output voltage.
